[Ferro-Alloys.com] Metal calcium price continued its drop recent months. Fortunately, calcium cored wires as the dominant kind still need large metal calcium supply. Also, only a dozen of companies are currently producing. Thus, the market for metal calcium is acceptable in some sense.

Established in 2008, Hebi Haideli Metal Products Co Ltd is a bigger metal calcium maker in the field. Its products include calcium silk, calcium granule, calcium powder and cored wires.

They are now producing calcium silk 400 tons and calcium granule 300 tons a month. Some of them are self-used to produce calcium cored wires. Quotation for it fixed at RMB 8200 per ton.

40 percent of their output goes to foreign market. Manager in charge of export introduced that now their exports are through middlemen.

Due to higher product quality requirement, oversea companies are more likely to import alloy powders to self-make cored wires.
