[Ferro-Alloys.com]Chinese FeTi price kept steady, with FeTi30 being offered at RMB-/mt by acceptance (25basis)

[Ferro-Alloys.com] In 2013, China totally exported 704,280 tons of silicon metal, up by 46.7% Y-O-Y. In H1 of 2014, China totally exported 389,898 tons of silicon mtal, up by 27.2% Y-O-Y.

According to statistic of Japan Customs, Japan imported 13233 tons of silicon metal, up by 55.8% Y-O-Y.

According to the statistics of Japan Customs, Japan’s ferroalloy export volume was 21061 mt in Jun 2014, down by 5.8% M-O-M and up by 23.7% Y-O-Y.

EMM market in China was generally stable last week. In the manganese triangle area, mainstream ex-work price of manganese flake stayed around RMB 12500-12700/mt (USD2016-2048/mt).

In Aug., the FeCr benchmark price was further cut down by RMB50/mt for large supply. And the suppliers had already reduced their ex-works price.

At the end of July, the nickel ores trading was still not optimistic as the buyers in Chinese market tried to pressure the price while the sellers held the price for rise.

In recent two months, the high FeNi operating rates was low and meanwhile many producers held the stock. However, the total supply in Chinese market was still high, and the main reason was that many steel mills cut down the purchasing volume.
