[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to Ternium, the company said it has not yet seen any dip in demand in Argentina, but is anticipating "some reduction" in this year due to the country’s own economy. Ternium is a leading Latin American company that manufactures and processes a broad range of steel products.
According to the report issued by the Argentinian Steel and Iron Association, the country’s output of HR totaled 389,700 tons in January, down by 3.9% on last December while up by 1.6% on last January.
In addition, the output of CR totaled 123,800 tons in January, up by 7.6% on last December while down by 6% on last January.
Argentina produced crude steel of 397,100 tons in January, down by 8.4% on last December while up by 24.1% on last January.
