[Ferro-alloys.com] EMM price in China continued to fall last week as demand was weak and procurement was not active. In the manganese triangle area, mainstream ex-work price of manganese flake had dropped to RMB 12400-12600/mt (USD2067-2100/mt). In Huangpu Port, export price was USD2130-2170/mt.

It bought a manganese ore with 0.5 billion mt of high=grade MnCO3 ore in Ukraine. Political chaos happened in Ukraine recently and we communicated with the company instantly. Some official disclosed their Ukrainian EMM project was not affected much yet. No matter which party took power, the company’s property would always be protected. They suspended capital investment and wait for the election in May.

Supported by high power price, EMM market was likely to be stable this week.
