[Ferro-Alloys.com] It’s reported that the Japanese stainless steel producers have hiked coil prices due to surging prices of nickel, power and fuel.
Nissin Steel decided to raise its domestic prices for austenitic hot and cold rolled stainless coils by ¥20,000/ton for shipments from June in order to reflect higher nickel prices.
At the same time, Nippon Yakin Kogyo announced to hike its domestic prices for austenitic hot rolled and cold rolled stainless coils by ¥40,000/ton for June contracts due to higher raw material prices and rising energy costs.
