[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to statistic of Japan Customs, Japan imported 13309 tons of silicon metal, up by 9.6% Y-O-Y in May. The materials were mainly imported from China and Norway with import volumes respectively at 12548 tons and 3250 tons.

Through May 2014, Japan totally imported 66170 tons of silicon metal, slightly down by 1.3% Y-O-Y. 61813 tons of the materials were imported from China.
