[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent period, Malaysian manganese ore kept downtrend for increasing spot supply in China. In fact, future quotation for manganese ore from Malaysia has already showed dramatic fluctuation this year, and Mn30-32Fe10-12% was lowered to USD2.9-3.0/mtu from USD3.3-3.4/mtu from the beginning of the year. Spot price at ports in China also in the same situation, Mn30-32Fe10-12% was edged down to RMB26.5-27/mtu from RMB31.5/mtu.

In general, given underperformed market, manganese alloy producers have less interest in purchasing more ores. In addition, flat quotation for oversea main miners to China would also exert some affect on non-mianstream kinds of ore. Under such affect, domestic ore traders suffered more pressure.
