[Ferro-Alloys.com]Chinese FeV50 was offered at RMB78,000-79,000/mt (USD12,786-12,950/mt, export duty excluded) by acceptance. In mid-August, steel mills were negative to restocking raw materials, with FeV50 transaction price stabilizing at RMB78,000/mt (USD12,786/mt, export duty excluded) by acceptance.

Less low-priced raw materials hiked FeV supplier’s cost. Although steel mills pressed FeV tender price, high cost made FeV suppliers insist their offers. A Guangxi FeV supplier mainly did old customer’s orders.

It is expected that FeV50 price would keep steady due to firm raw materials cost. In the dull season, steel mills couldn’t sustain FeV market, FeV50 price is unlikely to change much.
