[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that China totally imported 1.5231 million tons of manganese ore from 1.42 million tons for June according to data from Chinese Customs Statistics. In the first seven months, the total manganese ore importing volume in China reached 9.4 million tons, showing an increasing of 8.3% from the same period of 2013.

As of manganese ore suppliers, In July, South Africa still served as our top supplier on manganese ore with 503.6 thousand tons. Meanwhile, Australia ranked the second and supplied 500.6 thousand tons manganese ore to China in July which also hit the new high since this year. In addition to that, Gabon exported 152.4 thousand tons manganese ore, Ghana shipped 133.8 thousand tons manganese ore and 102.5 thousand tons for Malaysia.

In general, given ore supply hard to ease in short term, it is predicted that there are still some uncentainty on manganes ore future market dispite actively movement for some kinds ore in recent period.
