[Ferro-Alloys.com]In early September, calcium silicon price in China kept steady. There were no stocks in most factories.

Until the first week of September, quotations were as follows: CaSi30# was RMB10300-10400/mt in Shaanxi, RMB10000-10200/mt in Ningxia, RMB10400-10500/mt in Inner Mongolia, RMB10500-10600/mt in Henan, RMB 10400-10500/mt in Qinghai. CaSi28# was RMB10100-10200/mt in Shaanxi, RMB9800-10000/mt in Ningxia, RMB10200-10300/mt in Inner Mongolia, RMB10300-10400/mt in Henan, RMB 10200-10300/mt in Qinghai. Export prices of CaSi30# to India were USD 2,090/mt FOB.

Export quotations were made by inquiries. Imported CaSi30# price from Argentina was about USD2200/mt, higher than Chinese price.

Chinese calcium silicon market would be muddled and calcium silicon price would keep depressed.
