[Ferro-Alloys.com] In mid- September, prices for silicon manganese in Ningxia area of China showed dip somewhat. As slowing growth for steel market, increasing sale pressure pushed some silicon manganese suppliers to further down price by RMB50/mt from previous period. Given flat demand, some producers lowered sale price to RMB6,150/mt from RMB6,200/mt, while those with higher quotation also put price drop to RMB6,250/mt from RMB6,300/mt.
