[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent week China-made high carbon ferrochrome price maintained at RMB6200-6450/mt. Affected by the weak demand in China, the South African & Kazakhstan FeCr price went down as South African FeCr was USD0.8-0.81/lb; Kazakhstan FeCr, USD0.88-0.89/lb Cr. Meanwhile, India FeCr stayed at USD0.82-0.83lb Cr for the rising cost of Cr ores in India.

In mid-September, the FeCr price in Europe and America basically had no changes as in Europe with ferrochrome (Cr 60-65% C6-8%) being offered at USD1.04-1.12/lb Cr and the material with Cr60-70%, C 0.1% being USD2.08-2.15/lb Cr. In US, FeCr (Cr60-65% C6-8%), USD1.15-1.18/lb Cr; FeCr (Cr 65%min C0.05%max), USD2.25-2.28/lb Cr; FeCr (Cr62%min C0.1%max) , USD2.08-2.15(+0.03)/lb Cr.

Low carbon ferrochrome price stayed standard while the cost declined slightly for the downturn price of Cr ores. Now low carbon FeCr(C25) was quoted at RMB11700-11900/60mt, C10 was RMB12000-12200/60mt and C6 was RMB12200-12400/60mt(ex-works price with tax).

The chromium metal in both European and Chinese market stayed standard with offers at USD9300-9625/mt and RMB58000-61000/mt respectively. In China, the chromium metal price was still firm for the tight supply.
