Until the fourth week of September, quotations were as follows: Kunming delivered price for off-grade Si553#, RMB12,600-12,700/mt, Si553#, RMB13,100-13,200/mt and Si441#, RMB13,400-13500/mt, Si3303#, RMB14,100-14,300/mt; Si2202#, RMB15,100-15,300/mt. Tianjin port price for Si421#, RMB14,300-14,400/mt and Si411#, RMB14,500-14,600/mt.

Export market of Si metal: Until the fourth week of September,, Si553# was USD 2,060-2,100/mt, Si441# was USD 2,240-2,260/mt, Si421# was USD2,310-2,330/mt, Si 411# was USD2,330-2,350/mt, Si3,303# was USD2,340-2,360/mt and Si2,202# was USD2,500-2,550/mt FOB.

Western Si metal prices remained stable in the fourth week of September. European Si 553# price was EUR 2200-2250/mt; the US was 144-147cents/lb. Indian silicon metal price was about USD2,160/mt in late September. Japan silicon metal price increased by USD130/mt compared to early September. Asian silicon metal price would stay firm in next month.

Analysis: The consumers began to purchase silicon metal for next month. And silicon metal price would stay firm in next month.
