[Ferro-alloys.com] As the National Day Holiday takes up almost the whole early October, the major steel mils including HBIS and Shagang Group launched and determined October purchase prices of FeSi, which were basically flat from September prices. As most ferrosilicon producers took the monthly purchase prices of HBIS and Shagang Group as reference, they would be cautious about quotations in early October.

Generally speaking, ferrosilicon producers had comparatively steady operation and supply seemed to meet the demand quite well. Many ferrosilicon dealers would suspend trades during the National Day Holiday, implying ferrosilicon market was expected to run smoothly in China during the holiday.
