[Ferro-Alloys.com]During October 6-10, the LME nickel kept stable after the dramatic fall in September. The price saw an increase on Monday and Tuesday, but the fall has offset the rising for the rest three days of this week. The price created a week high at $16,999/mt and a week low at $16,351/mt and closed at $16,420/mt, down by 1.44% this week.
Almost all the cities of China have loosened their policies of the real estates purchasing since the beginning of September, which has arisen the cement price, but the failed to change the slag market for stainless steel market in China. The International Monetary Fund lowered the expectation of global GDP growth, which has dragged the base metals prices. The monsoon season in Philippines would decrease the output of the nickel ore, which would probably push the nickel price up. On the month chart, the LME nickel price might continue to fall after adjustment.
