[Ferro-alloys.com]Chemical silicon metal price had kept firm since National Day. Organic silicon market turned warm and this led to more need for chemical silicon metal. Low-water seasons would come and high electric cost would stimulated silicon metal price.

Until late October, quotations were as follows: Kunming delivered price for off-grade Si553#, RMB12,500-12,600/mt, Si553#, RMB13,100-13,200/mt and Si441#, RMB13,500-13600/mt; Tianjin port price for Si421#, RMB14,300-14,400/mt and Si411#, RMB14,500-14,600/mt; Si2202# and Si3303# prices were much higher.
