Founded in April 2014, it is located in Jingxi County, Baise City, Guangxi Autonomous Region, controlled by CITIC Dameng Mining Industries Ltd (CITIC Dameng). It is a comprehensive enterprise that includes mining, mineral processing，hydrometallurgy and trade. Its leading product is electrolytic manganese metal (EMM).

Guangxi Start Manganese has its own Mn mine and it is rich in Mn ore resource. Proven MnCO3 ore reserve is as much as four million mt. The company has three production lines of EMM and annual capacity is 20,000 mt. In 2007, it passed the ISO - 9001:2000 quality system certification successfully.
