[Ferro-alloys.com] Ningxia Zhongwei Huaxia IRD Technology Co.ltd. (Zhongwei Huaxia) was founded in May 2009, located in Zhongwei City, Ningxia Autonomous Region. Overall investment was about RMB 60 million (USD 9.68 million). It mainly produced and sold electrolytic calcium metal as well as its deep-processed products.

Zhongwei Huaxia adopted international advanced technology of liquid cathode electrolytic calcium. Annual capacity was about 2,500 mt and purity of calcium ingot could be as high as 99.9%. It could also produce calcium granule and cored wire.

For management reasons, Zhongwei Huaxia stopped production in 2010. According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, shareholders tried to sell this company as a whole at present. It could resume production immediately once the transfer was done. Annual profit could reach as much as RMB 50 million.
