It is reported that ArcelorMittal has signed a contract with the Saint-Nazaire shipyard to supply steel for the hulls and decks of giant cruise ships to be built by STX France.
The global steel giant will supply a minimum of 116,000 tons of steel as all plates and coils will be supplied from ArcelorMittal’s European plants, following an initial contract signed in 2013.
The first deliveries will start in January 2015, according to ArcelorMittal.
