Given power cost differency in north and south areas, the operation rate situation in those areas also showed different greatly. Since bidding price of silicon manganese in north fixed on RMB6,250-6,350/mt, the ex-work price of northern areas producers concentrated on RMB5,850-6,050/mt amid fierce competition.

To sum up, continuous weakened demand would make silicon manganese possible to hard to pick up in the near future.
