[Ferro-Alloys.com] China totally imported 1.13118 million tons of manganese ore in November, showing a further downturn comparing with prior month 1.34 million tons and also representing a 21.6% decreasing from the same period of last year according to data from Chinese customes statistics. In the first eleven months, China totally imported 14.87 millions tons of manganese ore which was basically in line with the last year.

In terms of suppliers, Australia still placed the first and sold 461.83 thousand tons of manganese ore to China from 527.9 thousand tons in November. South Africa put the second and supplied 353.17 thousand tons manganese ore from 464.2 thousand tons. Gabon exported 117.7 thousand tons manganese ore to China from 93.2 thousand tons during November. Malayisa shipped 81.49 thousand tons from prior month only 25.7 thousand tons. Brazil supplied 67.5 thousand tons from 95.9 thousand tons.

In short, ongoing sale for manganese alloys in China dragged imported manganese ore spot down gradually which also wane traders’ confidence.
