PrintFerrosilicon market remains stable in the middle of August. In the northwest, 75# ferrosilicon mainstream price was RMB6,850-6,950/mt, 72# ferrosilicon was RMB6,650-RMB6,750/mt, price in Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai was RMB6,600-RMB6,700/mt. The price was steadier than last week as a whole. Shipment activity of most manufacturers was relatively stable, and stock was less. Export still kept stable, with 75#ferrosilicon price around $1,520-$1,540/mt FOB at Tianjin port.
Traders pay more attention to the tendency of ferrosilicon market in September, but the two views of rising and falling are both extremely. There is no consistent perspective to the afternoon market. Quotations are expected to keep stable as a whole.
