Construction by silicon startup Northwest Silicon LLC has been pushed back to October.
The company had expected to break ground this summer on a greenfield silicon plant at an undisclosed location in the southeast capable of producing 36,000 tonnes per year , but it has been delayed for two months, a market source told AMM. No other details were available.
David Tuten, president, declined to comment.
