[Ferro-Alloys.com]There was no dramatic fluctuation in the price of manganese alloy in China. Slowing sale coupled with falling price led to low operation rates for alloys, especially in south areas.

Silicon manganese 6517 was quoted at RMB5,300-5,500/mt in north and RMB5,600-5,700/mt in south. As for operation rates, only Inner Mongolia can maintain 50% operation rates benefit for power advantage, others places can only sustain 20-30%. High carbon ferromanganese 65 was quoted at RMB4,800-5,000/mt. In fact, there were only two large companies struggling to running in Yunnan. Medium carbon ferromanganese 78C1.5 lingered about RMB8,400-8,500/mt and RMB8,800-9,000/mt for low carbon ferromanganese 80C0.7.

In fact, more and more alloy prodcers declined to give quotation amid sluggish demand, even high water season approaching still failed to stimulate participants’ movement. What’s more, fierce competition would lead increasing companies to the blink of bankrupt.
