[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that price of silicon manganese dropped to RMB5,100/mt in Chengkou Couty of Chongqing of Q1 2015, and the total downtrend margin even reached RMB7,00/mt which far less than production cost about RMB8,00/mt. As for electrolytic manganese metal, it is decreased to RMB11,300/mt, pointing to a nosing dive by RMB500/mt which also far less production cost rmb12,000/mt.

In fact, RMB0.53/kwh power price makes manganese suppliers in Chengkou County still lack enough advantage compared with other places with cheap power. Under such affect, most manganese producers in local area suffered loss due to RMB500-1000/mt higher cost.
