[Ferro-Alloys.com]This week price of LME Ni showed a slight downturn after two weeks on the rise. The price closed at USD13,830/mt on May 14th, down by USD320/mt than last week. Meanwhile, the nickel stock was 443,352 tons, increasing by 918 tons from the prior week. On May 15th, Jinchuan 1# nickel was quoted at RMB108,900-109,300/mt, up by RMB7800/mt.

In recent period, the low FeNi(Ni1.6-1.8%) was offered at RMB2300-2350/mt, and the high FeNi price was edged up to RMB980-990/Ni (ex-works price with tax by cash). In april, output of FeNi in China totaled 44 thousand tons (accounting to metal tons ), sharply increasing by 25.7% m-o-m. In the first four months, China totally produced 170 thousand tons of FeNi. Improved performance of FeNi Market would be conductive to restore the enterprise negative attitudes.
