According to statistics released by the United States Department of Commerce, the country exports of nickel scrap totaled 1,917 tons in April, dropping by 18% compared to the last month.
The average export price of nickel scrap was US$4,081.96/ton, decreasing by 10.5% m-o-m. The main reason for decline in export prices is due to lower LME nickel prices.
In the meantime, shipments of nickel scrap during the first four months totaled 8,550 tons.
