[Ferro-Alloys.com] Japan imported 10.47 million tons of iron ore in June, a decrease of 2.7% compared to the same month of last year, according to statistics released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance.
The average price of iron ore imports was at ¥8,969/ton, down by ¥.3,891/ton or 30.3% compared to the corresponding period of last month.
The country’s imports of iron ore registered an increase of 3.1% to 64.68 million tons in the first half compared to the same time of last year.
