The commission's information document added that it has provisionally established that Indian material has been dumped in the EU, but so far has not established a "clear-cut causal link between the situation of the [EU] industry and the dumped imports from India". The anti-dumping proceedings were launched after a complaint was lodged by ferro-alloys producer body Euroalliages in November 2014. The association claimed an increase in Indian material entering the EU had hit the sales volumes and prices of silico-manganese sold by EU producers. The deadline for interim anti-dumping measures was September 20 2015, nine months on from the launch of the investigation in December 2014.
