[Ferro-Alloys.com] In recent days, Acerinox, the largest stainless steel enterprise in Spain, has published its Q3 Operation Report, which suggested that the company produced 562000 tones of stainless steel in Q3, up 3 percent year on year.

In Q3, the output of hot-rolled stainless steel is about 498000 tones, up 1.2 percent year on year; the output of cold-rolled stainless steel is about 393000 tones, up 2.3 percent year on year; the output of long hot-rolled steel is about 51000 tones, down 17 percent year on year.

Acerinox is the largest stainless steel producer in Spain, its products include stainless steel sheet, bar and wire rod. The group has 33 subsidiaries and 2 joint ventures worldwide, whose sales network covers more than 80 countries and areas. Its flat-steel producers include Factoria Campo de Gibraltar, Northen American Stainless and Columbus Stainless and its long-steel producers include Roldan and Inoxfil.
