[Ferro-Alloys.com]During this week, low grade ferrous nickel price continued to loss again. Low-grade ferronickel 1.6-1.8% quoted at 1570-1620yuan/t, down 30yuan/t; mid-grade ferronickel 4-6% quoted at 720-730yuan/nickel; mid-grade ferronickel 6-8% quoted at 710-720yuan/nickel, down 10yuan/nickel; high-grade ferronickel 10-15% quoted at 710-720yuan/nickel.

Recently, factories quoted their previous prices to support the market and part of small-scaled high-grade plants had been halted or put on maintenance. Additionally, a steel maker in Northern area also enquired low-grade ferronickel prices in the market. And a steel manufacturer in Northwestern area was purchasing high-grade ferronickel at 730yuan/nickel.

Recently, the production condition of low-grade factories did not change too much when some of them still remained in operation in Liaocheng or Linyi areas, where low-grade ferronickel producers persisted at 1600yuan/t. And in Shandong province, some low-grade factories were supplying for a order without much spots. A steel maker in Guangdong province was searching for low-grade ferronickel at 1700yuan/t.
