Meanwhile, wire rod mills have announced to increase prices at US$50/short ton or US$55/ton, effect on May 1. However, there is no panic buying activities regarding in the prices increased.
Currently, US’s domestic spot prices are between US$520~540/short ton or US$ 573~595/ton, the ex-factory price.
