[www.ferro-alloys.com] China Steel Corp., the largest carbon steel makers in Taiwan, has notified its domestic customers that it will hike AP plate base price by NT$1,700/ton for June. 
At the same time, the company will lower AP plate supply quantity. 
The rising import steel plate and higher raw material costs were the major reason for CSC to make the decision. 
CSC's new AP plate base price will be NT$15,100/ton for June. According to CSC's original policy, only its customer who owns allocation for first grade steel plates will have the right to purchase for AP plates.
