[Ferro-Alloys.com]Peru government statistics showed that Peru’s March copper production was 188,052 tons, an increase of 45.69% year on year. Meanwhile, Peru’s zinc production was 110,861 tons, down by 5.74%. Those for lead production was 27,280 tons, down by 0.85% year on year.
Peru is expected to become the world's second-largest producer of copper.
