[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to United States iron and Steel Institute (AISI) announced on September 10th, United States domestic crude steel production was 1.626 million short tons, the production capacity utilization was 69.5%. Production of 1.687 million short tons in the same period last year, capacity utilization was 70.5%. 
United States crude steel output fell 3.6% year on year, fell 1.8% month on month. 
After adjustment, United States total crude steel production was 62.5454 million/short tons, the capacity utilization ratio was 72.3%, down by 1.3% year on year.
