The quotation of silicon manganese 6517 was RMB7800-8100/mt in Ningxia, the quotation was RMB7900-8100/mt in Inner Mongolia, and the quotation of silicon manganese 6517 was RMB7800-8100/mt in Guangxi. Furthermore, the quotation of silicon manganese 6014 was RMB6100-6200/mt in China.

As Guangxi, Yunan, and Guizhou will implement dry season electricity price in November, the production cost of silicon manganese in the South will obviously rise. Furthermore, Xing’an, Quanzhou, and Ziyuan in Guangxi Province will turn off or limit the electricity supply of silicon manganese producers.

As the prices of manganese ores, coke, and transportation cost kept surging during the past 20 days, it is estimated that the quotation of Chinese silicon manganese products will rise in November in consideration of the high price of upstream manganese ore.
