www.ferro-alloys.com: On 18^th,March, mining magnate Murilo ferreira, president&CEO from Vale in Brazil said in his speech that China had made great progress in the supply-side structural reform,though cutting overcapacity was faced with various problems at present, he believed with determination and wills, China would overcome these difficulties, accomplish the supply-side structural reform and realize the win-win strategy with all partners.

But he also put forward that shutting excessive capacity was not the only solution to achieve  supply-side structural reform, that the proportion of steel utility in China was only 10%, which was lowered than the average level in Asia. Thus he advised to encourage the steel enterprises to use high grade iron ore and increase proportion of steel in capital construction, large-scale bridges and buildings, which could not only help resolve the overcapacity but also benefit the environmental protection.
