Panzhihua District Continues to drop, and most operators in the upstream and downstream market are waiting and seeing, and inquiry and placing an order are rare.

Currently, Panzhihua District, offer of Titanium Concentrate 46% is mainly quoted at RMB 1,500 to 1,600/ton, up by RMB 1,000/ton compared to that of last week; but the actual order price has already dropped below RMB 1,500/ton and the mainstream price tentatively maintains at RMB 1,480 to 1,530 /ton; but from the condition of enquiry in current market, the new order in following market may be difficult to exceed RMB 1,500 /ton.

 It is known that rate of operation in titanium concentrate market in Panzhihua District is not high; total output of titanium concentrate in China in May 2017 is about 350,000 tons, dropped 10,000 compared the output in April 2017. Most mine traders are mainly processing inventory and it is expected that down space of price in the market may gradually narrow.
