[Ferro-Alloys.com]Affected by weak demand and falling nickel prices at LME, the quotes of304 grade cold rolled coil with the thickness of 2mm have decreased by USD 50 to USD 150 per ton in East Asia.

At the same time, the base prices of 304 grade CRC from Taiwan and South Korea have fallen by USD 50 to USD 120 per ton and USD 50 to USD 150 per ton respectively.

Taiwanese traders said that they had no choice but to cut the price once and again due to sluggish demand. Part of buyers replenished some stock because the price had reached the bottom level this year.

Since the beginning of May, the nickel price has fallen by USD 1,000 per ton. Last week, it ever reached USD 16,000 per ton, but then it rebounded.
