[ferro-alloys.com]  At the beginning of this week, vanadium mark in China is stable, and vanadium price is smooth and steady; Ansteel has published the price of ferrovanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloy today, which is the same with the price of last week, bidding price of vanadium alloy of steel mill fluctuates in a small range; international vanadium price rallies and the amount of increase is larger.

Price of flaky vanadium pentoxide keeps at RMB 130,000 to 135,000/Ton, price of ferrovanadium keeps at RMB 140,000 to 145,000/Ton, and price of vanadium-nitrogen alloy keeps at RMB 205,000 to 210,000/Ton. Offers of Ferrovanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloy are the same with the price of acceptance of last week that price of Ferrovanadium is RMB 138,000/Ton and price of vanadium-nitrogen alloy is RMB 209,000/Ton. Bidding price of Ferrovanadium 50% of SGIS was RMB 149,800/Ton (acceptance price including VAT, including service fee) and 25 tons. International Vanadium price continues to rise, and price of European Ferrovanadium ≥78% rises to 41.5-42.35 USD/Kg vanadium, price of vanadium pentoxide ≥98% rises to 8.6 -9.0 USD/pound vanadium oxygen.

Some producers Like Ansteel, Jianlong Group, Tranvic and Shaanxi Wuzhou Mining, reduced production for different reasons like high costs for extracting vanadium from stone coal or being short of vanadium titanium magnetite ore that supply of goods is not much in the market. Price in Vanadium mark is affected largely by the price of flaky vanadium pentoxide, Ansteel and its processing plant in Panzhiua District are relatively stable, and its plan of extracting vanadium from stone coal recovers production, it is expected that production of flaky vanadium pentoxide in December will increase.
