Ferro-Alloys.com Reports today: Some Manganese Miners offered their price of March shipment ,and price of Mn Ore was increased compared with shipment in Feb,2018

Comilog today offered usd7.5/dmtu for 44.5% lumpy; and usd7.3/dmtu for  43% mn chips; which was increased by 0.35-0.5usd/dmtu than Feb'price. UMK offered their March price at usd7/dmtu for 36% min carbonate Mn Ore, and Tshipi Jupiter offered usd6.5-6.8/dmtu ,which was also about 0.3-0.5usd/dmtu increased. South32, has not confirmed their price yet.

Spot price of Mn ore in Tianjin Port dropped by 2-4RMB/Dmtu these days due to low demands and price drop of SiMn and Femn, HBiS decreasd demands over 50% in Feb and not postive during Holiday, They may purchase again after Holiday.

It is not easy to predict the price of SiMn in March and April, but due to low price of  Mn ore arrived or will arrive to China in  Feb, and these arrivals will definately influence the price of SiMn and truely believe that customers of SiMn will clearly know that ,and will push down the price of SiMn in March. So, Spot price of Mn ore still have heavy pressure to drop in Feb and March.

Several Big traders and consumers said they will not buy any kg of Mn ore at such high price,and try to find new source to meet demands.

Supply of SiMn in March also will improve and that will get more competitive ,and buyers will have more option. On the other hand, steel plants will resume its capacity around Hebei area in April and demands on ferroalloys may be increased in April. and plus high price of Mn Ore in April and after , Market of SiMn should be bullish again .
