The average daily crude steel output at major Chinese steel mills stood at 1.7996 million mt during the second 10 days of February, up 0.84% from the first 10 days, according to data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA). Steel inventories at these steelmakers amounted to 11.4 million mt as of February 20, up 19.6% from the level on February 10.
