[ferro-alloys.com] Until March 30^th, the mainstream price of the high carbon ferrochrome ranged from 7500RMB/ton Cr 50basis to 7600RMB/ton Cr 50basis.In Inner Mongolia, the price is between 7500RMB/ton Cr 50basis to 7600RMB/ton Cr 50basis.It is decreased compared to the price last week.

Until March 30^th, the price of low-carbon ferrochrome went down significantly,and so did the price of micro-carbon ferrochrome. The price of medium carbon ferrochrome C2 ranged from 13000RMB/ton Cr 60basis to 13100RMB/ton Cr 60basis.The price of low-carbon ferrochrome C25 is between 13200RMB/ton Cr 60basis and 13300RMB/ton Cr 60basis.The price of micro carbon ferrochrome C10 ranged from 13400RMB/ton Cr 60basis to 13500RMB/ton Cr 60basis. The price of micro carbon ferrochrome C6 ranged from 13600RMB/ton Cr 60basis to 13700RMB/ton Cr 60basis. 

Today, Tsingshan, Baosteel and Taiyuan Steel announced their bidding price of ferrochrome in April successively. They are both 500RMB/ton Cr 50basis lower than the price in March. The bidding price of Taiyuan Steel is 7250RMB/ton Cr 50basis (including tax and transport service), and the price of Baosteel is 7500RMB/ton Cr 50basis (including tax and transport service). They all decreased their bidding price by 500RMB/ton Cr 50basis compared to the price last month.They will purchase the material as required. The European price of ferrochrome in Europe in the second season has been announced.It was risen up by 142 Cents/lb. The production volume of ferrochrome in January is 0.41 million tons, the volume in February is 0.38 million tons,and the volume in March is about 0.47 million tons.The total production volume is about 1.26 million tons. The imported ferrochrome volume is about 0.379 million tons from January to February. The volume was in low level.As the limitation of the factory power supply was relieved in Guizhou Province, the ferrochrome production increased significantly.The domestic production was in normal level. However, the price of domestic stainless steel fell down continuously. The price of ferrochrome may not be kept steady. Most clients said that the price accorded with their expection.In the European market,due to the upvaluation of Rand, the ferrochrome price was in high level.So South Africa rose up the European ferrochrome price greatly. Indian Market is a huge market for the ferrochrome. As the urbanization goes on, Indian Market is still in good condition.It could support the global ferrochrome price in general.
