[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, FED announced that they would raise interest rate. Relatively, LME nickel price dropped down. By the end of trading, it was quoted at 12820 USD/T. Compared to the price on Tuesday, it was 135 USD/T lower. Today, affected by declining of LME nickel price, Shanghai Future Nickel price went down. Compared to Wuxi 1810 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 100 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 6500 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 111500 RMB/T, it was 800 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

The nickel market was getting better, and the supply of high grade ferronickel was insufficient. So, the price of high grade ferronickel lifted up today. It was quoted at 1070-1085 RMB/Nickel. Influenced by declining of coke price, the rising trend of low grade ferronickel was restricted. The market was steady today. It maintained at 3700-3850 RMB/T.
