[ferro-alloys.com]On last Friday, U.S dollar index went up by 0.25%. Relatively, LME nickel price dropped down by 0.2%. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12685 USD/T. It was 20 USD/T lower than the price on last Thursday. Affected by rising of nickel supply and nickel demand, Shanghai future nickel price lifted up in the morning. Compared to Wuxi 1811 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 150 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 6000 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 110800 RMB/T. It was 300 RMB/T higher than the price on last Friday.

Influenced by dropping of LME nickel price, both 304 series stainless steel price and 201 series stainless steel price went down. The ferronickel market was not in good condition. Today, ferronickel market kept steady. The main stream price of high grade ferronickel was 1065-1080 RMB/Nickel. The low grade ferronickel was quoted at 3750-3850 RMB/T.
