Relatively, LME nickel price dropped down. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 11740 USD/T. It was 140 USD/T lower than the price on last Friday. Influenced by declining of LME nickel price, Shanghai Future nickel price dropped down in the morning. Compared to Wuxi 1811 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 400-500 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 8000 RMB/T. The price of Jinchuan electrolytic nickel rose up by 300 RMB/T. It was quoted at 106800 RMB/T.

Today, the prices of 200 series and 300 series stainless steel dropped down. What’s more, due to the downturn of nickel market, both high grade ferronickel price and low grade ferronickel price went down today. The mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 1050-1065 RMB/Nickel, and the low grade ferronickel was quoted at 3600-3700 RMB/T.
