[ferro-alloys.com]On last Friday, U.S FED Chairman Powell made a speech and implied the condition of suspanding raising interest rates in 2019. Then, U.S dollar went down largely. Relatively, LME nickel price lifted up. By the end of trading, LME nickel price was 11395 USD/T. It was 70 USD/T higher than the price on last Thursday. In the morning, encouraged by rising of LME nickel price, Shanghai future nickel price used to went up. However, dut to the low supply-demand level, Shanghai future nickel price dropped down near the noon. Compared with Wuxi 1812 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 100-0 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 10700 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 105200 RMB/T. It was the same as the price on last Friday.

The stainless steel market kept steady. Influenced by rising of LME nickel price, High grade ferronickel price stopped dropping today. The mainstream price remained at 1000-1020 RMB/Nickel. The low grade ferronickel price kept steady today. The mainstream price was 3550-3650 RMB/T.
