Print[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute, in July this year Turkey's chrome ore exports amounted to 291,449 tons rising 57.4 compared to the same month of 2011 and up 22.5% compared to June this year. Meanwhile, in July the revenue generated by Turkey's chrome ore exports totaled USD 55.3 million increasing 25% compared to June this year and up 24.2% on YoY basis.
Meanwhile, in the H1 of 2012 Turkey's chrome ore exports increased by 11.2% to 1.36 million tons while the revenue for these exports stood at USD 270 million down by 1% both compared to the same period of 2011. In July this year, Turkey's chrome ore exports to China amounted to 272,031 tons constituting 93.3% of Turkey's total chrome exports and up 71.5% compared to the same month of the previous year.
On the other hand, Turkey's nickel ore exports in July this year amounted to 19,650 tons falling from the 71,950 tons recorded in the previous month while the country's manganese ore exports in July this year reached 11,315 tons rising compared to the 4,731 tons recorded in June.
