In order to reduce emission of air pollutants effectively and improve air quality furthest, the headquarters of Environmental Pollution Prevention has been taking the following urgent measures for all iron and steel enterprises in the city from 20:00 on November 22^nd:

1. Anyang Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.: On the basis of off-peak production, one sintering machine in use is halted and two blast furnaces in use are reduced production load. The daily average output of crude steel is controlled below 9,500 tons. No abnormal operation of pollution prevention facility is allowed. Usage amount of ammonia must not exceed the designed requirement.

2. Other iron and steel enterprises: On the basis of off-peak production, all sintering machine in use are halted and the blast furnaces are reduced production load simultaneously.

Local insiders disclosed that many producers had suspended production in succession and it was estimated that production would not be resumed until the end of this year.

By the end of November, operation of domestic cored wire market is still stable on the whole. Silicon calcium cored wire market operates stably. There is no fluctuation in FOB prices. Market quotation of metal calcium is smooth with no adjustment of mainstream transaction prices comparing with that the last week. The mainstream transaction price of metal crude calcium in Wenxi, Shanxi Province is maintained at 14,800 to 15,000 yuan per ton. The mainstream transaction price of metal calcium wire in Hebi, Henan Province (Ca 97% or higher, tons of package/drum Φ 6.5 8.5 mm) is 18,000 to 18,200 yuan per ton.

At present, the transaction price of calcium silicon cored wire (Ca28Si55) is 10,800 to 11,800 yuan per ton. Calcium silicon cored wire (Ca30Si58) is 12,000 to 12,500 yuan per ton. Pure calcium wire (Ca98%min∮9mm) is 10,800 to 11,800 yuan per ton. Ferro-calcium wire (Ca30∮13mm) is 8,300 to 8,800 yuan per ton. Ferro-calcium wire (Ca30∮30mm) is 10,000 to 10,500 yuan per ton. Carbon wire (C98%∮13mm) is 6,200 to 6,600 yuan per ton. Seamless metal calcium wire (Ca98%min∮9mm) is 12,000 to 12,500 yuan per ton. Seamless metal calcium wire (Ca98%min∮10mm) is 17,000 to 17,500 yuan per ton. Silicon magnesium wire(Si40Mg28Re2∮13mm) is 11,500 to 12,500 yuan per ton. The cold rolled steel strip SPCC0.35 *55 Q195 is 4,200 yuan per ton, SPCC0.35-0.39*55 and SPCC0.4-0.49*55 is 4,300 yuan per ton. It is estimated that cored wire market will be stable recently with no large price fluctuation.
