Ferro-alloys.com:Railways carried a total of 355 million tons of cargo last month, up by 10.1% YoY, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The growth accelerated from the 9.7% rise registered in September. In the first ten months, railway freight totaled 3.33 billion tons, up by 8.2% YoY. China's road freight transport also continued its fast expansion,rising by 10% to 3.63 billion tons in October. From January to October, the amount of cargo carried on roads, increased by 7.7% YoY to 32.27 billion tons.
